The reminders (Uta x Reader)

"Uta!~" You singed out entering the mans shop, with two hot coffees. He was different. Different good of course. You where both ghoul so no one cared less... but that Kaneki kid. You swear... You wanted to rip off his head half the bloody time. Eventually you put up with him and the jokester of a boyfriend.

His shop echoed back to you. All the masks where displayed but the man was no where to be seen.

However one thing caught your eye. A sheet was draped over one of the pedestals.

"Uta." You mutter to yourself realizing the man himself was trying to scare people again. Setting the coffee's down you hover your way to him. Grasping onto the white cloth you whips if off of him.

"I was sleeping (f/n)." He spoke in a low immediately when the cloth touched the ground.

"I don't care. I got us coffee you half ghoul." You insulted him.

"Since when am I a half-ghoul?" He questioned.

"Cause you act like that Kaneki brat half the time."  You stated, pressing your lips together.

"No eyeballs for you then." He stated clearly and vividly.

"but-"

"No buts. You get no more eyeballs for a week (f/n). If you insult me again, I'll make you wear that mask for all of tomorrow." He backlashed at you.

"Your a cold hearted ghoul Uta." You proclaimed wrapping your arms around his neck. All of a sudden he started sniffing you. He grabbed your hands and started sniffing out the stench hidden on you. Slowly Uta made his way smelling you neck. Your hands where laying at your side while Uta resumed.

"Why do you smell like you have been eating people all day."

Shit.

His birthday was tomorrow. You wanted to surprise him by gathering eyeballs in a jar. You just wanted to be a perfect girlfriend for once. Even if it meant wearing the mask on his birthday.

"I've been around." You smiled softly to him, you where only a few inches from his face. He brought his hand up and caressed your cheek. His thumb glides over your lips, making your breaths hitch just slightly which alerts him the obvious.

"(f/n) tell me why you where eating people today."

"I was getting something ready for tomorrow. I wanted to surprise yo-" You never had a chance to finish you sentence. Uta's lips cut you off from the words that lingered on the tip of your tongue. The kiss in total was deep and made you move into him more. It felt exhilarating. Your spine tingled from your lower back all the way to the nape of your neck. Each kiss moved rhythmically, and became more deeper each time. Parting you start into his kagune eyes.

"Your going to be a demon bunny you know that right? I tasted the eyeballs that still lingered in your mouth." He snickered towards you. Responding you playfully punch him in the chest.

"Besides... my birthday is the third. So technically you can get two presents." You smirked.


For the rest of the day you drinked away your coffee and hanged around his shop til he kicked you out.

What a lovely boyfriend?


~ Bonus ~

The party was held at Uta's shop. everyone arrived including Touka.

"(f/n) why are you wearing the bunny mask?" She asked with a slight confused face.

"Something... Just something." That was the way you explained why you where wearing the mask to everyone.

That day Uta got a reminder to not mess with you. Secretly you, Touka, and Kaneki plastered his little corner of his shop with a photocopied picture of Uta when he was younger. Oh how you loved to play with him, and get your present early.
